HUNDREDS of people attended the Devon Ability Counts leagues at Newton Abbot and the Tavistock Specials football sides and the club's ladies team - the Tavistock Spirits - played some great football.

Goalkeeper Steph Muir bravely saved some difficult shots, while Sam Pole scored a bag full of goals and Anna Jessop held the back and also scored.

Tavistock Spirits, coached by Billy Venning, are snapping at the tails of Argyle and Torquay.

Wayne Downham is doing a great job for Tavistock Diamonds men's team in league two.

He has a natural way with the disability footballers who still sit at the bottom of league but so enjoy their day out — especially when centre forward Ian Muller scored his third goal!

The league one team, coached by Karl Cudmore, again some tough matches and are midway in their league.

Head coach Will Reed managed the U16s side and the boys were again a credit to our club.
