THE West Country goes worldwide at a special event next month to raise funds for vital work providing safe and clean drinking water for villages in Tanzania.
The evening at Bratton Clovelly Parish Hall will promote wonderful local West Country produce by cooking up a rich variety of dishes from across seven continents.
Organiser Vivien England says she hopes the informal evening will be soundtracked by traditional music from each of the countries from where dishes originate, with more entertainment and fun planned.
The event is on Saturday, November 13, at 7.30pm at Bratton Clovelly Parish Hall. Tickets for the four-course meal are £15 per head.
All proceeds go to Devon Aid Korogwe?s latest project to start work on some of the improvements needed in four Tanzanian villages surveyed by the charity.
