I LIVE in a sheltered home accommodation for disabled/OAPs. What a nightmare it was when we had more snow than usual: the council, the highways people and West Devon Homes were all asked about salt/gritting the pathway over the bridge and site for the residents and carers to get out.
They all said it's not their job, so who is responsible for it?
I had a hospital appointment last week. I rang three different taxi firms the day before, and they all said sorry, we only do school runs before 9am.
Thirdly, I wish to say thank you to the two kind people, who don't live on this site, who came up on two occasions and dug out a pathway to help us out.
