THE tranquil Skaigh Valley at Belstone holds many secrets of man's presence, from the dramatic adits of Ivy Tor mine and the battered remains of rifle range targets to modern-day geocaches and dormice boxes.

There is an opportunity to discover these and other hidden sites on a guided walk led by Chris Walpole, which leaves Belstone Village Hall at 1.30pm on Sunday April 11. It will last two hours, with cream teas and cakes in the hall on return. Please wear walking boots. Dogs on leads welcome.

All donations will be for hall funds.
