TAVISTOCK Swimming Club held their B Finals on Saturday at Meadowlands which concluded their Club Championships 2000 events.
In all the events to date the sportsmanship of the swimmers has been commendable and the B Finals were no exception. Many swimmers gained personal best times and Nicholas Jarman achieved a club record in his age group for the men's 100m breast. Close finishes were in abundance and the 12/u 50m breast for boys saw Michael Best and Nicholas Jarman in joint first position. All the awards gained in the Club Championships 2000 will be awarded at the club's presentation evening on Friday November 10.
