THE Get Changed Theatre Company won?t be making a big noise about their latest fundraising event.
The group are holding a silent auction next month to give people in Okehampton the chance to get involved and help support this important theatre project for adults with a learning disability.
A host of wonderful goods have been donated to Get Changed from businesses large and small. These will be on display in the Market Hall on the Edwardian Evening on Thursday, December 4, and at the Leaze coffee morning at the Leaze Day Centre on Wednesday, December 10.
Bids will be opened on Friday, December 12, and those who have placed the highest bid for each item will be contacted. Among the star attractions up for auction are a 58-piece Viners cutlery set, a signed football from Plymouth Argyle, Microsoft Office XP software, soft toys, a hobby horse and much more besides.
Get Changed is also holding a ?Brain Power? quiz sheet for sale to the public at just £1 each. There is a £30 prize for the sheet returned with the most correct answers. Quiz sheets can be purchased from Cinnabar Photographic Shop or the Beanfeast in the Old Arcade, Okehampton, or Linfords, in the Square, North Tawton.
