PUPILS?at Lamerton Primary School joined with local choir Canticorum for their Christmas Carol Concert.

One of the carols sung by the children even contained a verse 'sung' in sign language. 

This was to recognise that all the pupils at the school learn to sign to assist a fellow pupil who is hearing-impaired.

The concert contained some fabulous singing from Canticorum, covering Christmas songs old and new.

The pupils of class 2 thoroughly enjoyed singing their carols from around the world, including their enthusiastic rendition of 'Rock Around the Shops' with hand actions.

The packed village hall finished the successful evening with all singing 'Once in Royal David's City', ably led by the joint choirs conducted by Ian Hardy and Neil Mitchell.
