A PRESENTATION of more than £520 was made at the Bedford Hotel to the West Devon section of the family support charity Home-Start.

The money was raised at a concert and sale of art held at Brentor Village Hall on Saturday, September 27 when a capacity crowd of more than 70 gathered for the show.

The audience heard a selection of songs from the Flanders and Swann collection and had a chance to join in with some of their favourites and with some First World War songs.

There were also comedy acts and monologues to add to the fun.
