WEST Devon artists are celebrating ten years of creativity with an exhibition starting this weekend.

West Dartmoor Art Group was established so that like-minded, creative people could get together to paint, draw and enjoy good company. Its tenth annual exhibition takes place at Peter Tavy Village Hall.

The group, which meets at the village hall every Wednesday morning, has supported charities Dartmoor Rescue Group and Devon Air Ambulance, raising more than £4,000 over the years.

The 50 members have gone from strength to strength and their exhibition, from July 16 to July 24, will show the high quality of their collective range, with accomplished oil paintings, acrylics, water colours, pastels and drawings displayed for sale.

Refreshments and home made cakes will also be available.
