A PACKED programme of Easter activities has been arranged by staff at Tavistock Library during the school holidays this month.

Judy Jeal, senior library assistant, said: 'Over the Easter holiday we are running an Easter egg hunt, where children have to find pictures of Easter egg people around the library — a small prize will be given for the winning entry.'

Judy said entries need to be received by the library by Saturday April 13.

In addition to the hunt, there will be an activity box all day on Tuesday April 2, between 10am and 4pm, while on April 5, children aged five and over can have fun making Easter egg people.

On April 9, the activity for the day will be egg mosaics for children over the age of five, being held between 10am and 11am.

There will be an activity box all day on April 11 and on April 12 between 10am and 11am, the youngest children will be catered for with Easter craft and stories.

The final day in the programme is on April 15, with a day-long activity box.
