TAVISTOCK continued their 'Jekyll and Hyde' season with a resounding victory over their lowly opponents courtesy of a hat-trick from Matt McClung and four from the superb Sam Turner.
When in this kind of form, the two in prolific strikers are arguably the best pairing in the league.
After a slow start, Town took control of the game with the impressive Charlie Gale's prompting from the midfield. Sam Turner soon had a brace of goals by latching onto threaded through balls to beat the home keeper with ease. Matt McClung added another two before the break to give the visitors a healthy lead.
Although the home side proved to be stronger in the tackle than Tavistock the visitors improved their work rate when the opposition were in possession.
Stand in keeper Karl Howell Andrews gave confidence to the team and he was protected by a resolute back four, who worked hard to keep a clean sheet. It came as no surprise to see Tavistock's Turner and McClung adding to their tally.
