THE churchwardens at St Eustachius Church in Tavistock are inviting parishioners to join them for a Eucharist service next month, where they will be saying a fond farewell to the Rev Michael Brierley.

Mr Brierley will be joining the staff at Worcester Cathedral, where he will take up the role of precentor, which involves directing and organising the worshipping life of the cathedral, and sharing in the pastoral care of the cathedral community.

The Eucharist service takes place on Sunday, March 2 at 6pm and will be followed by refreshments and an opportunity to bid farewell to Mr Brierley.
