THE annual Okehampton Lions' charity golf day in aid of the Children's Hospice South West will be held this year on Friday, September 6.

This will be the seventh year that this popular event — to be held at Okehampton Golf Club — has taken place to raise funds for the hospice.

To date, more than £30,000 has been donated to this worthy cause.

The Lions Club expressed thanks to the following major sponsors of this year's event: St Austell Breweries, Jewsons, National Grid, Rogers of Plymouth, South West Highways and Southern Lubricants.
