A SEMINAR has been arranged to advise Okehampton businesses how they can manage in a difficult economic climate as the UK economy appears to be visibly slowing. The 'Bullet Proof Your Business' seminar is being organised by chartered accountants and business advisers Simpkins Edwards at the White Hart Hotel, Fore Street, Okehampton on Thursday May 29. Simpkins Edwards partner Mary Jane Campbell will provide advice on business management strategies while Nigel Hemming of Aquila Financial Management will speak on managing personal finances including risk management and how pensions can be effectively used in business. An economic update will be provided by David Fowler from Lloyds TSB Agriculture.
