DARTMOOR National Park Authority is seeking a chairperson for a forum to advise on new rights of way on the moor.
The Countryside and Rights of Way Act, 2000 requires National Park Authorities to set up Land Access Forums for their area.
The National Park Authority want someone to head their interim Land Access Forum, which will advise the NPA, the Countryside Agency and local highway authority on the improvement of public access to moorland for open air recreation.
The chair of the forum is expected to play a key role in its operation and will be initially involved in drafting the forum's terms of reference.
