ON February 4, with the help of an article in the Times, a number of people with memories etc, of the Bedford Hotel attended a coffee morning at the hotel and offered useful information for inclusion in a forthcoming book on the history of this most interesting establishment.

I have still been unable to trace a photograph of the Bedford Hotel garage which ran from the early 1900s until its closure in 1988. The garage was situated in the yard at the rear of the hotel and if anyone would kindly offer me the use of such an image I would be most grateful.
