TICKETS to watch Manchester United play Chelsea in 2010 and a family month pass for Plymouth's Devonshire Health Club are just two of the prizes up for grabs in the Rotary Club of Roborough's 'Auction of Promises'.

The auction is being staged at the Moorland Links Hotel today (Thursday) at 7pm and will be raising money for REPOD (Rotarians Easing Problems of Dementia), RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) and other Rotary charities.

Other lots to auction include tea for two people with Gary Streeter MP at the House of Commons, two train tickets by First Great Western, dinner for two, including a bottle of house wine, at the Boesti Restaurant, at the St Mellion International Resort. 

Martin Mills from the Breakfast Show on Heart FM has offered a tour of the radio station plus the opportunity to sit in and watch him presenting his show, Graham Dawe from Plymouth Albion RFC spoke at Roborough Rotary Club recently and donated five tickets for each of their British and Irish Cup games against Leinster, Penzance and Exeter. Plymouth Argyle has given a voucher for two tickets for use at one of a list of specified games. 

With a drink and light finger buffet, plus the auction catalogue, entry costs £9 per ticket.
