Okehampton Men?s Seconds 2 University of Plymouth 3 OKEHAMPTON started unprepared for the pressure that the visitors put on them, with the first goal for Plymouth coming quickly. The defence struggled to clear the ball. For Okehampton Sam and Will Spry, Ian Miller, Keith Webber with Richard Bond in goal worked through this only to concede another goal before half time. As the second half began the midfield of Simon Bourne, Mark Parsons and James Rogers started working well with the defence, joined by Josh Speak and Luke Miller acting as sweeper. This resulted in the ball staying in Plymouth?s half. A good run into the D by Luke Miller resulted in a good reverse stick goal. Plymouth then stepped up the pace resulting in another goal. Okehampton kept their heads and soon Mark Parsons scored a goal making it 3-2 to the University. Okehampton kept the pressure on and with Plymouth playing deeper and deeper it was only time, but for some great saves from the Plymouth keeper that kept Okehampton from levelling the game.
