PRINCETOWN once more has a scout group, following a gap of approximately three years — its members were invested at the recent St George's Day parade in Tavistock.
Cath Monks, the district commissioner for West Devon, is helping to run the group with district cub scout leader Angela Gregory for an initial period while helpers are found.
It is hoped a recruitment day in Tavistock on June 6 will result in new helpers for the beavers, cubs and scouts.
Cath said the young people were always interested in joining the group but it was a lack of helpers that was the problem in keeping it going.
The re-formed group has moved into the new village centre in Princetown.
