PUPILS at Kelly College Prep School enjoyed a treat recently, when CHICKS mascot bear Mas and fundraiser Becky Ewing visited them. They were both invited to attend assembly and gave an interesting talk explaining all the brilliant work that CHICKS does throughout the year to provide respite breaks for disadvantaged children across the UK. CHICKS also got a nice surprise when the charity was presented with a cheque for £1,000 by the children on behalf of Kelly College Prep School Parents' Association. The money had been raised throughout last year with a number of events. Matthew Foale, headmaster at the prep school, said: 'We are delighted to make this donation to CHICKS on behalf of Kelly Prep School Parents' Association and I would like to thank everyone for their generosity.
