POLICE are appealing for information after around £22,000 of equipment was stolen from Shebbear College.

Police said laptops, notebooks, televisions and photographic equipment were stolen from the college at some point between 6.30pm on Monday, February 4 and 7am on Tuesday, February 5.

Extensive damage was also caused to several buildings around the college as burglars tried to gain entry into the school.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
