LIFTON Community Primary School has been presented with a national award ? the Activemark Gold ? in recognition of their efforts to keep pupils fit. Just 324 schools in the country have been given the highest level Activemark in recognition of their outstanding commitment to physical activity as part of the school?s provision. ?For a village school of this size to achieve the Activemark Gold is outstanding,? said Tric Locker, Devon school sports co-ordinator.
