AN amazing success ? that was the verdict after a World?s Biggest Coffee Morning event held by Shebbear School recently, to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer. The whole school participated with all the junior and senior school pupils coming together. Parents were also invited and staff said it was great to see such a gathering of teachers, parents and pupils. The coffee morning was a huge success and there are a number of people to thank including Shawn Dymond from Somerfield Supermarket in Bude. Somerfield donated a large amount of cakes and biscuits that helped to raise a substantial amount of money. Also, Sara Chappell and Viv Hale who made the delicious soup. The school is thrilled they raised an amazing £600!
