MEMBERS of Bere Alston Trekkers (BATs) took part in two races over the weekend. The first was the Jeremiah?s Journey Trail Run held in Cann Woods on Saturday evening. This was a Scenic Trail Run of approx 5 miles. The event was very sociable with all abilities taking part in order to raise money for this worthy charity. BAT?s times were recorded as: Ashley Wills 36:03, Patsy Boon 45:06, Alan Catto 47:47 and Sue Catto 58:19. The second event of the weekend was the Plymouth 10k. The race started and finished on the path at the side of the sports hall and followed a two lap course in and around Central Park, with water/sponge stations on the route at 2 & 5k.
