SCOTT Hamilton — who is performing in Tavistock tomorrow — is a brilliant jazz saxophone player from USA who has been described as 'the young saviour of jazz' and a 'true individualist'.
His playing is an extension of the jazz tradition established by the likes of Ben Webster and Coleman Hawkins.
When the Tamar Valley Jazz Association was lucky enough to lure him to Tavistock some two and a half years ago, he played to an enraptured capacity audience.
