CORNISH based International trainer and Grand Prix dressage rider Sarah Cheetham tooke herself and five of her pupils through to the NAF five star Winter Dressage Championships 2011.
'Competition is quite tough just to get through to the regional finals these days,' said Sarah, 'so I'm very proud that five of my pupils have gone through to the nationals this year.
Sarah will ride her own Danish gelding Provender Galant. This combination were invited to represent Great Britain in Biarritz last year and will compete in both the PSG and the inter one freestyles to music on the Friday and Saturday evening per-formances respectively.
Pupil Dominic Wolfendale, who won in the advanced medium class at the South West regional finals will head to his first Premier League at Keysoe, Bedfordshire the weekend before the nationals in the hope of making young rider selection later this year.
Claire Rollitt, on her own Woodstock II, took second place in the novice freestyle to music at the regional finals while Paula Lee is also through to the advanced medium class on Mary King's Olympic silver medal winning eventer King Solomon III.
Two of Sarah's other pupils also qualify Jo Lashley with Princess Spickel for the advanced medium freestyle to music and Sophie Wolfendale, riding side saddle, for the preliminary Pet Plan Championships.
