THE ladies of Yelverton Golf Club played a medal competition on August 18 and 19.

The winner in division one was Annette Sweeney with a nett 73 and the runner-up Gilly Jarvis, nett 74. In division two the winner was Verna Isaac with nett 74 and the runner-up Carolyn Crawford on nett 75.

The ladies competed for the Silver Salver, the best nett scores of the two days determine the winner and the runner-up. Winner of the salver was Gilly Jarvis with a total of 151 nett while the runner-up, awarded the Harmer Rose Bowl, Carolyn Crawford with a total of 152 nett.
