A NEW altar frontal has been dedicated in Tavistock's St Eustachius Church.

It depicts the symobol of the saint — a cross which Eustachius saw between the antlers of a stag while out hunting.

The frontal was made by St Eustachius Church sacristan Nichola Heathman and given by parishioner Pauline Steevenson and her sons, Charles, David and Anthony, in memory of her late husband, Richard.

They are pictured with the Rev Michael Brierley and curates the Revs Paula Rennie and Tim Treanor.
