FOR the eleventh year, Chillaton is holding its annual fun run and walk for all ages to run, jog or plod on Sunday July 8.

The route will take participants through the quiet lanes around Chillaton, where they can have a companionable walk or spice it up with a race against friends.

All children taking part will receive a medal and proceeds after expenses will be donated to a local charity.

People taking part should meet at the square in Chillaton from 11am for an 11.30am start.

To take part in the event just turn up on the day to register. The entry fee is £2 for adults, £1 for children and 50p for dogs. The Chichester Arms will be open to provide refreshments before and after the event.
