RISING young rugby star Richard Bolt, of North Tawton, will be taking on a slightly different role at the town?s rugby club this weekend.
The England U16 player is due officially to open the St Peter?s Church Fete at the rugby ground at 2pm.
During the afternoon there will be a free vintage bus service from the town square to the fete, where there will be class vehicles, pony rides, a barbecue, dancing and music displays, a falconry display, loads of fun and games and a car boot sale.
There will be a wide variety of stalls and refreshments, including cream teas and ice creams.
Admission is £1 for adults; accompanied children are free. All proceeds from the event, which starts at 1.30pm, will go to St Peter?s Church funds.
