POPULAR author Lucy Pinney is due to visit Okehampton Library next week. Lucy, who wrote the ?Country Life? column in The Times, is due to visit the town on Wednesday November 2. Lucy started writing humorous articles for magazines like She, Cosmopolitan and Country Living before spending four years at The Times. In addition to chronicling life in the Devon countryside, complete with errant husbands, diversifying wives, pet foxes and the trials and tribulation of the lambing season, she has also written in-depth and serious articles for most of the national dailies. Now a full-time author, she has published two romantic novels: The Pink Stallion, which won a runners-up prize in the 1987 Betty Trask Awards and Tender Moth, published in 1994. Lucy lives in East Devon with her three children and partner. She will be talking to readers, answering questions and signing copies of her books from 12.30pm.
