WHILST I have every sympathy for the people of Whitchurch, who have traffic problems, anybody who lives here also has great difficulty exiting onto the Callington Road from Meadowbrook and Boughthayes.

In the morning the road is blocked with cars ferrying children to school and going to work. On Sunday mornings the road is very dangerous for cars to pull out onto Callington Road, as it is reduced to one lane or less by thoughtless parking for the Catholic Church. It's only a matter of time before there is a serious accident here.

To add to all this the core strategy supporters think it's okay to add to the current heavy traffic by building 750 houses — possibily 2,000 more cars, off the Callington Road.

What a proposal!

Also, re Meadowlands, can

we expect a

large, evergreen, impenetrable hedge to be placed to screen the eyesore BMX facility from the rest of the park?
