IN response to a letter (February 19), I would like to advise your correspondent of our services, so that we may be of assistance to them in the future.

We are a local charity operating both a Ring and Ride bus service and also a voluntary car service for elderly, disabled, frail and rurally isolated people.

Our cars are available to take passengers to medical appointments early in the morning as well as normal 'office hours' and we often transport patients to the RD and E Hospital for early morning admissions.

We do ask for as much notice as possible, preferably 48 hours, but often can help at short notice. Please ring Sue on 01837 55000 to make a booking.
