Hatherleigh Town 4 Feniton Town 1 HATHERLEIGH proved again what a stubborn side they are becoming to play against, with another perfect all round team performance. Ollie Bedford paved the way to this victory with the opening goal, and a brilliant hat-trick by Dean Rice followed. Feniton had their fair share of play but with midfield maestros Ed Hillier and Ryan Davis covering every blade of the pitch, their efforts were kept to a minimum. Stuart Dymond limped off with a leg injury early in the first half, but hopefully will be fit for this week?s away trip to Exeter University. l Sunday saw Hatherleigh first XI progress in the first round of the Okehampton Cup. Goals from Steve Millington and Dean Rice were enough to clinch this tricky away encounter 2-1. l Hatherleigh Reserves carried on their unbeaten start in the league this season by beating Wingfield Park 4-1. Martin Reynolds (2), Steve Millington, and an own goal secured their victory.
