A £200 REWARD is being offered for information leading to the safe return of a distinctive Staffordshire Bull Terrier ? its owner believes it may have been stolen. Four-month-old Ozzie disappeared from a garden in the New Park estate in Horrabridge at around 9.45am on May 31 in the time it took for resident Mark Blakeley to go inside the house and roll a cigarette. The disappearance of the family pet, who is believed to be worth around £1,000 due to its unusual markings and predominantly white coat, has left Mark, his partner Laura Kerswill and 11-month-old baby Maddison devastated. Ozzie was a present to Maddison from Laura?s mother Jo and has struck up a great relationship with the child. ?They are real mates and Maddison is sitting in the dog basket wondering where he is,? said Laura. ?You cannot put a value on a dog, he has completed our family and we just want him back.? The dog, who has a microchip, has a patch of black on the left side of his face and white eyelashes on his right eye. He has a black bottom and looks like he is wearing pants, said Laura, and a black and white tail. The rest of the animal is white. Posters have been put up around the Horrabridge area and further afield and the police, rescue charities, vets and Dartmoor National Park rangers have been alerted. ?As soon as Mark found the dog missing he went all over Horrabridge looking for him,? said Laura. ?Everybody knows Ozzie and all the children were around because it was half-term. ?We believe someone may have taken him because potentially he is worth a lot of money.?
