REVISED plans for homes on the Carlton Cinema site have been submitted to West Devon Borough Council. An application to build 15 flats with associated on-site and off-site parking was rejected by the council?s planning committee in February because of the poor standard of amenity for future residents and insufficient parking. The applicants, Gray Brothers from Tavistock, last week submitted a new application, which includes a proposal for a central garden/sitting-out area at the front of the site by the Devon Youth Services building. Parking provision would still be provided by means of a triple garage underground and off-site parking.
