WHEN delivering to North Tawton last week my lorry had problems on the ice at the bottom of Bouchers Hill.

Needless to say a tense time was had, but helped by the local residents who helped with gritting and general advice, I finally got moving.

I hope to visit one day and I will toast a thanks to you all.

Oh and to the young lad who threw the snowball at me on the way out of the village . . . good shot!

Many thanks to you

all including Mr Simmonds (?) a local farmer/builder who helped in unloading the doors . . . that were not his.

Many thanks to all.
