THE Lambs continued their fine run of form and ran out comfortable winners against a game Borough side.

The home side got off to the perfect start when they scored in the opening minute; a shot from Mark Solomon was deflected past Ali Greensides. The visitor almost equalised midway through the half but a magnificent save by Richard Garfield denied the Borough.

The second period saw the home team step up the pace, and they really dominated the visitors, and it was no surprise when debutant Glen Holt headed into the corner of the net. Ryan Fice then made it 3-0 shortly afterwards.

It was the outstanding performance by visitor's goal keeper Grennsides, that kept the score respectable. He pulled off a succession of saves to deny Ryan Fice, Ian Rook and Kevin hatch from scoring before the visitors got a consolation goal in the dying minutes of the game.
