A DARTMOOR Pony which had its leg trapped in a fence at Burrator House, Dousland, was rescued by local firefighters.

One crew from Yelverton attended last Tuesday just before 6.50am along with the specialist rescue team from Camels Head in Plymouth.

On arrival firefighters found the pony and used small tools to release the animal, which was unharmed.
