A MAN had to be rescued by the fire and rescue service in the early hours of Sunday morning after getting lost on boggy moorland at Princetown.
Two engines from Princetown and Yelverton and a rescue appliance from Camels Head responded to a request from police to assist in the search and rescue of a person stuck in a bog on the moor. The fire crews assisted the police to promptly find the male and helped remove him from the moorland on a stretcher with the aid of an ambulance and a police 4x4.
