A WOMAN was trapped in a car in a ditch after a single-vehicle collision in Princetown last Wednesday (March 13).

The accident happened just after 5.30pm on the B3212 at Devil's Elbow Bend.

A fire crew from Princetown, one from Yelverton and the heavy rescue vehicle from Middlemoor attended the incident and released the female from the vehicle, who was then attended to by ambulance crews.
