A RALLY was held by Rexon Stud for Lamerton Pony Club recently, showing the support for the charity South West Equine Protection.  Stud staff said it was very good to see that some rescue ponies have a very happy 'second chance' at life — these three ponies were some of the kindest and most reliable ponies that the branch has.  During the rally, Rachel Perry of Houghton Saddlery received a cheque for £100 on behalf of SWEP from Helen Harris, district commissioner of Lamerton Pony Club. The money was raised through the pony club's Christmas raffle. All the ponies pictured above have benefitted from SWEP's work and are now active in the pony club in their new homes.
