DEVON Libraries are reminding customers of a useful service it has started in Okehampton, in conjunction with Waitrose.

The library's 'drop box' has been installed at Waitrose at the end of the checkouts.

If you are unable to visit the library in North Street or it is closed Waitrose shoppers can simply leave library books, DVDs and CDs in the drop-box.

The box will be emptied regularly and the items returned to the town library.

Overdue items may also be returned in this way and any outstanding charges can be paid on a subsequent visit to the library.
