I AM probably speaking for many passengers to thank DAC Coaches for their excellent service they provided when the Gunnislake bridge was closed.
The drivers were friendly, helpful and always on time. I applaud them for making transportation to Tavistock and back much easier.
Thank you

AT last drivers on the Cornish side of the Tamar are able to cross Newbridge at Gunnislake to get to Tavistock and onwards.
It has been an inconvenience to say the least, what with all the extra mileage, several if you went via Callington, and a lot of frustration when you met a Chelsea tractor who couldn't reverse if you went via Horsebridge.
Also, why should Cornwall Council have to pick up the cost of removing the stranded cars at Calstock — it was mother nature which undermined the road. Let the car owners pay, not the council tax payers.
