WEST Devon residents can now order a new or replacement council recycling box on-line by clicking on to the authority's website.

The latest council service will help to ensure that a box will be delivered within ten days of applying online.

All you have to do is click on to http://www.westdevon.gov.uk/recycling">www.westdevon.gov.uk/recycling and complete a simple form.

Waste Reduction and Recycling Officer Jane Savage said: 'We want as many residents as possible to be able to take part in our kerbside recycling scheme and we are trying to make it as easy as possible to do so.

'Our website also contains information about all waste services including locations of recycling banks,' she said.

Alternatively, residents can still telephone 01822 813656 to request a recycling box or receive further information about council services.
