WEST Devon players Steve Lilley and Callum Thompson, who both play for Plymouth Titans, helped Devon finish second at the Rugby League South West county championships

Steve worked as the team sports therapist and made his playing debut, in the fourth game against Somerset, playing loose forward, and scoring one of the tries in a 28-10 win. Callum played a major part in all four games scoring a number of tries and kicking conversions to help Devon finish second to Hampshire.

Both Steve and Callum are involved with Plymouth Titans RFL club, this year based out of Horsham. Both Steve and Callum made their Titans Debuts in narrow defeat to Exeter Centurions in 2009 in which Steve suffered a major collar bone break.

Steve is also involved with Tavistock Rugby club as a sports therapist and plays when called upon and Callum has played rugby regularly for Tavistock RFC over the past few years.

Steve also runs the South West Kickboxing Academy out of Tavistock College on a Friday night between 7.30-9pm, as well as a sports injury clinic in Tavistock and working with personal training clients.
