A WALK is being organised for April 6 to highlight the missing link to Drake's Trail at Grenofen.

The circular four-mile walk will take in the view of the 100 yards beyond the Halfway House at Grenofen which is the gap in the footpath from Tavistock to Yelverton.

Local residents are frustrated at the time it has taken to complete the route, which was planned more than ten years ago.

The walk will begin at 10am in the car park of the Halfway House and should take about two hours, taking in Grenofen Bridge, Gem Wood, Grenofen Tunnel, Tiddybrook, Anderton Lane, Whitchurch Cross, Ashmill and back to Grenofen, which is the shortest legal way round.
