SOUTH Coast Martial Arts, Plymouth's largest kickboxing and Taekwon-Do club, is soon to grip Tavistock with a new class set to open in Tavistock College Sports Centre on Tuesday, March 23.
'The new venue will enable more beginners and families to take up the sport and allow them to train with accom-plished students in an open, friendly, supportive atmosphere where they can help each other achieve their physical and mental goals,' said instructor Peter Smith who holds a second degree black belt in ITF Taekwon-Do and an internationally recognised Umpire's certificate.
With 25 years' martial arts experience he has trained and coached in different styles of competition and will be leading the new Tavistock classes.
The new SCMA Tavistock classes will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Tavistock College sports centre for Lil' Dragons (4-6 year olds) at 5.30pm - 6pm and mixed classes (all ages) from 7pm - 8pm.
