THE Connect team and their partners will be dealing with the topical issue of rural transport at their regular drop-in session at the Burrow Café in Exbourne on April 1.

Transport in the more rural communities of the borough has long been recognised as a problem. This issue has been tackled by a number of agencies, including Devon Wheels 2 Work, who will be joining the session on April 1, Okehampton Community Transport and Tavistock Area Support Services (TASS).

Between them, they offer a range of transport services, from Shopmobility to the Voluntary Car Service, Ring and Ride to the Motorbike Loan scheme.

Information on all these options will be available at April's sessions, alongside services offered by the Citizens Advice Bureau and South West Water.

A Connect advisor will also be at each session, providing information on a wide range of other public services.
