WHITCHURCH will be hoping the recent spell of bad weather is cleared in time for their Mansbridge and Balment sponsored cricket week, which starts on Sunday August 10.
There is a fixture arranged for every day between Sunday and Thursday. For each match the bar will be open all day and there will be a barbecue afterwards ? weather permitting.
On the Sunday, Whitchurch Ladies entertain Babbacombe in their final Devon League match. On the Monday, there is a tour match, with Mendip Acorns visiting from Somerset.
On Tuesday, the visitors are Oldown from Bristol and on Wednesday it will be Davenham from Surrey. All of these games are scheduled to start at 2.30pm.
Thursday?s match will be an evening affair against the Elephant?s Nest, starting at 6pm.
